Transcending Roots is a clinical herbal practice, apothecary, and botanical sanctuary, with foundations in Wise Woman Tradition and plant spirit medicine.

Begun as a store front in Philadelphia in 2019, we are now located in the forest of the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts.

Welcome — I’m Kim, the educator, medicine maker, mother, and creatrix behind Transcending Roots.

My journey with the plants began long before I had words for it, rooted in the Appalachian folk traditions I grew up with in Maryland.

The plants have been my teachers through motherhood, healing, and magic — guiding me home to myself again and again.
